Shared Sustainability

For us, sustainability is a way of life, and we strive to make it a daily reality. After establishing our own goals, we developed a strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions and offer a better vision for the future. We share this mission with our employees, users, and all collaborators and organizations we work with.

Our Strategy

  1. Calculate

To measure our total emissions, we adopted the Scope 3 of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, a standardized methodology for assessing the impact of emissions across our entire value chain and identifying areas where reduction activities are necessary.

  1. Reduce

Following an accurate assessment of our association’s emissions, we developed a strategy aimed at effectively reducing our carbon footprint.

  1. Compensate

Until we can completely reduce our emissions to zero, we will seek alternative ways to achieve our climate neutrality balance. We plan to offset our remaining emissions by trading them with strategic partners.

Our Goals

By 2024, 100% Renewable Energy

We use 100% renewable energy to recharge all electric bikes and scooters and to power our offices and warehouses. Our commitment includes expanding the use of locally-sourced energy in the markets we serve. We are also aggressively transitioning to clean, electric operational vehicles for our fleet management.

By 2026, A Net Negative Carbon Footprint

By 2030, we aim to achieve a net negative carbon footprint for the association, services, and our entire value chain (Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions), with the majority of our emissions reduced or neutralized by 2025, in line with our commitment to a scientific goal and the stringent requirements of the SBTi on the path to our 2030 target.

Before 2030, Net Zero Initiative

In line with the Paris Agreement’s goal to limit global warming to 1.5°C, as set by the Science-Based Targets initiative, we will be net zero carbon.

As part of our roadmap validated by an independent body to achieve a carbon emission reduction goal based on scientific data, in accordance with the Paris Climate Agreement, we commit to:

  • Reducing our Scope 1 and 2 absolute GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to a 2024 baseline year.
  • Reducing Scope 3 GHG emissions from upstream transport and distribution by 82% per km of amendment over the same period.
  • Ensuring that 80% of emissions from our supply chain – covering purchased goods and services and capital goods – set their own scientific targets by 2026.
